Emergency LED Light

Our range of waterproof, dustproof and corrosion proof emergency LED luminaires have been designed for the Australian market. They are available in: 

  • double and single LED tube models; and 
  • a tubeless configuration.  

We manufacture the more traditional models as well as a range featuring a stylish square aluminium and polycarbonate case in designer colours.  Back-up emergency functions are designed to produce high lumen and long back-up period. In comparison to traditional fluorescent emergency lighting, our LED emergency luminaires have low energy consumption allowing the luminaires battery back-up function to power the lighting at higher luminosity and for longer periods. 

Emergency Lighting Prices

All models have been independently certified by SAA Approvals. They have also passed all of the required electromagnetic compatibility and interference tests and satisfy Australian Standard 2293 which sets the requirements for emergency fittings in Australia.

Our Emergency Luminaires are designed and assembled for the Australian market.  The luminaire is made of high quality, high impact resistant thermoplastic consisting of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) base with a polycarbonate (PC) cover.

Our designer of emergency luminaire is part of our tri-proof range of LED lighting. It's unique design is constructed of aluminum and polycarbonate. Click here to see it survive being driven over by a car. 

The design is tubeless and employs the highest quality components including an Epistar LED module and a Meanwell driver. 

Battery back-up options exist that will run the light at any selected brightness for more than 3 hours.  

The emergency module is external to the luminaire in a battery box which can be located for easy access reading and testing. This also increases the life of the battery by keeping it away from heat. 

Emergency back-up and luminaire brightness can be customized to customers wishes.

The luminaire includes one a high-lumen 16W LED tube (emergency) the second tube must be purchased separately from our range. In normal operation both tubes are illuminated. In emergency operation the 16W tube will remain on.
