Dimmable T8 LED Tubes

We manufacture dimmable T8 LED tubes designed to operate with all major dimming systems.  Our internal driver model operates with both leading edge and trailing edge dimming systems including TRIAC. This is the most popular form of dimming control in Australia.

We manufacture external driver models that work with 0-10v, 1-10v, DALI, or DMX dimming control systems.

Our dimmable  T8 LED tubes make it possible to retain the original lighting design of your dimmable T8 fluorescent lighting installation (including expensive control systems). Our dimmable tubes are equally suitable for new installations in conference centres, theatres, churches and retail where a linear dimming system is required.

Both models of dimmable tube produce the bright even light previously associated with linear fluorescent lighting and will smoothly and uniformly dim over a full range.      

Our dimmable T8 LED tubes are commercial quality constructed with external aluminum heat sinks and rotating G13 ends. Internal drivers are isolated for safety. External drivers are independently certified by SAA and have undergone the necessary EMC testing.

This 1200mm 20W high lumen dimmable T8 LED tube contains 252 of Epistar's SMD2835 LEDs. It produces 2400 lumens and is designed to work with Lifuds super high quality external driver. Two driver models are available. The Lifuid LF-GDE020YB is designed to drive a single dimmable tube. The Lifud LF-GDE020YB is designed to drive two dimmable tubes.

This 600mm 10W dimmable T8 LED tube is powered by an internal constant current driver that works with both leading edge and trailing edge dimming systems including TRIAC. Sixty SMD2835 LEDs from Epistar produces 1000 lumens.  It is designed for use in a standard fluorescent fixture with or without the magnetic ballast removed. For maximum power savings and better power factor, we recommend bypassing the ballast and removing the capacitor. In the event new batten fixtures are required please see our range of LED battens.

[Please contact us for pricing details] This dimmable T8 tube operates with an external driver. The tube operates with drivers that are compatible with all major dimming control systems including TRIAC, 0-10v, 1-10v, DALI, and DMX. The tube can be supplied with the relevant driver. When paired with the correct external driver, the tube will dim with a standard Australian dimming switch or with any commercial dimming control system. It is designed to be used in fluorescent fixtures where the electronic or magnetic ballast has been removed and replaced with the external driver. LED Tube lighting can also be supplied with a suitable LED batten.
